Amanda Evora is a World and Olympic pair figure skater who represented Team USA from 2002-2012.  During her time as a National and International competitor with pair partner Mark Ladwig, Amanda's career highlights include placing in the top ten at the 2010 Winter Olympics, earning the bronze medal at the 2010 Cup of Russia Grand Prix, and competing at the 2010 and 2011 ISU World Championships. 

With their head coach Jim Peterson, Amanda and Mark were well known for their longevity in US Pairs, innovative lifts, and unique choreographic transitions. Following her competitive career, Amanda has had the opportunity to be affiliated with the Canadian TV Show "Battle of the Blades" and is noted for winning the Season 5 Show with NHL player Scott Thornton in 2013 and then partnered with NHL player Colton Orr in 2018.  Since 2013, she started her coaching education full-time, mentoring under former coach Jim Peterson and has been team coaching pair teams at the US Championship and International level. 

Amanda contributes her USF Business degree in giving her additional skillsets in Management and Marketing to her coaching style and team coaching atmosphere.  She prides herself at being a team player, willing to learn all and any aspects that will be needed in a skating school, and excited to be joining the vision and bright future of the Artic Edge Ice Arena.
