Amanda Waldron, member of United States Figure Skating and PSA, with thirteen years of coaching experience. Amanda graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn with degrees in both Biology and Anthropology and a minor in Psychology. She is also finishing up a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
Coaching specialties include all levels of basic skills, freestyle, moves in the field, choreography, and stroking. Coach Amanda skated for twenty years and competed for three years at the Senior Freestyle Level and was apart of the University of Michigan Freestyle Team. She was a 2010 & 2011 Midwestern Sectional alternate and has skated professionally in the 2006 Super Bowl Exhibition, along with many other ice shows and exhibitions. She also took part in 2011 Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Flashmob at Comerica Park.
She has also completed and has passed all of her USFS Moves in the Field and Freestyle Tests.
